The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be launched today by the tech giant at its “Made By Google” event scheduled for 10 a.m. ET (7.30 p.m. IST). The Google event will launch a number of other products, including the Google Pixel Watch that was first teased by the company in May. The California-based tech giant also glimpsed the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, the successors to the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, at Google I/O hosted earlier this year.

Google’s ‘Made By Google’ Event: What to Expect
Google already has announced the lineup of products that will be launched at the event scheduled for tonight. The “Made By Google” event includes the launch of the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro and the Google Pixel Watch. In addition, the tech giant is also unveiling additions to the Nest smart home portfolio.
Shortly after the announcement, the devices will be available to shop at GoogleStore.com. Prior to launch, the company has already announced that the Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro will be open for pre-order offers from Tuesday in India.
Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro: specifications (rumors)
The spec sheet of the Google Pixel 7 series was: leaked earlier this week, suggesting the presence of the next-generation Google Tensor G2 SoC and Titan M2 security coprocessor on both handsets. The Google Pixel 7 series smartphones will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options. However, the vanilla model can have 8 GB of RAM while the Pixel 7 Pro can offer 12 GB of RAM.
The Pixel 7 is said to have a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz. The smartphone may sport a dual camera unit on the back, with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.
On the other hand, the Google Pixel 7 Pro can come with a 6.7-inch QHD+ LTPO display and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. It could carry a triple rear camera with an additional 48-megapixel telephoto camera.
Both Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro handsets are expected to feature 10.8-megapixel selfie camera sensors. The variants of the Google Pixel 7 series may have a fingerprint scanner and face unlock function for authentication. Both smartphones can come with an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.

The latest leaks suggest that the Google Pixel watch may come with quick pairing and ECG tracking feature. The smartwatch would have Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It can also provide 5 ATM water resistance. Users can also get a six-month subscription to Fitbit Premium with the wearable.
Other features of the Google Pixel Watch, as suggested, could include sleep monitoring, heart rate and ECG tracking, and an emergency mode. Google is said to offer the three color options — Black/Obsidian, Gold/Hazel, and Silver/Chalk — for the Wi-Fi-only variant. Meanwhile, the mobile variant cam replaces the silver/chalk variant with silver/charcoal color option.
